Back in the Day with The Enemies. This Bank Holiday Sunday, get ready for the ultimate “Back in the Day” party as we celebrate one of Drogheda’s most legendary pubs — McPhails.

A venue that defined nights out for so many people, McPhails was at the heart of Drogheda’s live music and alternative scene for years. This special event is all about reliving those unforgettable nights, reconnecting with old friends, and celebrating the music, atmosphere and memories that made the place so special.

Whether you were a regular customer, member of staff, musician or simply loved the place, everyone is invited to come along, catch up with familiar faces and enjoy a soundtrack packed with nostalgia.

🎤 Live music kicks off from 5pm in the roof garden with The Enemies, recreating those classic McPhails beer garden vibes with great tunes, cold drinks and hopefully a bit of sunshine.

🍺 From 6pm, original McPhails DJ Dom Wilton takes over with a selection of iconic 90s favourites including The Stone Roses, The Smiths, Beck, Radiohead and more.

💿 From 8:30pm onwards, Hal brings the energy of the legendary Big Gen, Electric Avenue and Bluemoose nights back to life with hits from Nirvana, Blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paolo Nutini and many more.

Expect great music, plenty of memories and a night celebrating a truly iconic part of Drogheda nightlife history.
