Short Summary: Submit a 30 to 60-second clean, fun video capturing live entertainment in the greater Drogheda area for a chance to win a €50 Love Drogheda Voucher!

1. Promoter

The promoter is DroghedaGigGuide.com (DGG). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta or Facebook.

2. Eligibility & Age Limit

The competition is open to residents aged 18 years and over. Video entries must capture live music, entertainment, pub crack, or nightlife atmosphere within the greater Drogheda area.

3. Key Dates & Competition Schedule

  • Phase 1 (Submissions Open): Saturday, 31st October 2026.
  • Phase 1 (Submissions Close): Sunday, 22nd November 2026 at 11:59 PM.
  • Phase 2 (The Race Begins): All approved competition Reels will be published simultaneously on the official Drogheda Gig Guide Facebook page on Monday, 23rd November 2026.
  • Voting Deadline: View count tallying closes on Sunday, 6th December 2026 at 8:00 PM.
  • Winner Announcement: Tuesday, 8th December 2026.

4. Prize Structure

    • The main prize is one €50 Love Drogheda Voucher awarded to the overall winning video entry.
    • DroghedaGigGuide.com reserves the right to announce additional venue-sponsored bonus prizes or matching perks during the competition period.
  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.

5. Winner Selection

The eligible competition Reel that accumulates the highest total organic view count on the Drogheda Gig Guide Facebook page by 8:00 PM on Sunday, 6th December 2026 will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, DGG will make the final determination.

6. Permissions & Content Rights

By submitting a video clip to Drogheda Gig Guide, the entrant confirms that:

  • They are 18 years of age or older.
  • They hold all necessary rights and permissions from featured artists, performers, venues, and identifiable individuals within the footage.
  • They grant Drogheda Gig Guide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to publish, edit, reformat, and share the video across DGG social media channels, promotional materials, and website.

7. Video Duration & Trimming

Submitted clips should ideally be between 30 and 60 seconds. DGG reserves the right to edit or trim clips longer than 60 seconds to select the most entertaining 60-second snippet for publication.

8. Content Guidelines, Fair Play & Disqualification

All video submissions must feature clean, fun, and entertaining content suitable for a general audience. Entries containing abusive, offensive, dangerous, or illegal behavior will be excluded. Entries must generate genuine organic engagement; any attempt to artificially inflate view counts using bots, automated scripts, or paid view-farming services will result in immediate disqualification. DGG reserves final discretion on all submissions.
