Droichead Arts Centre is a multi-disciplinary arts hub in the heart of Drogheda, dedicated to placing arts at the centre of community life across Drogheda, East Meath, and Louth. Established in 1989, it delivers a vibrant, curated programme of theatre, visual arts, and cultural events. The Centre spans two buildings: the modern Stockwell Street venue, home to a 169-seat theatre and contemporary gallery, and the historic 18th-century Barlow House, which provides artist studios and print workshops. Droichead actively supports artists and arts organisations from the North East through residencies, bursaries, and tailored professional development.
