Join the Seisiún: Slow Sessions 2026. Dust off your instrument and join Droichead for our 2026 Slow Sessions! Hosted by renowned traditional musician, educator, and Kern co-founder Brendan McCreanor, these sessions are designed to help you learn new skills and build confidence in a relaxed, friendly environment.

• Who is it for? Players of any instrument and all levels—from absolute beginners and returnees to experienced musicians wanting to slow things down.

• The Repertoire: Traditional jigs, reels, polkas, and local Co. Louth tunes. Learn the music, the timing, and the history behind them.

• How it works: Music is sent via email beforehand, and the sessions take place live in our venue. Sessions last 90 mins–2 hours with a midway break.
